Júlia Blum presents “En Diferit”, the first single from her upcoming album, set for release this spring. The song marks a new artistic phase for the Barcelona-based composer and singer, and anticipates a body of work that represents a natural evolution from her previous projects, with a more conscious reflection on her own artistic identity and the narrative she wants to build.
The new album has been taking shape over the past year and emerges from a space of creative freedom, without a predefined direction or a fixed genre as a starting point. Pop remains present, but no longer as a limiting label; instead, it serves as a foundation that coexists with new influences, textures, and sonic layers.

“En Diferit” stems from the sense of temporal disconnection so prevalent in everyday life: we are constantly connected, yet we often engage in unsynchronized conversations. The song explores this shared experience, present in all kinds of relationships — friendships, family ties, and close connections — and attempts to make sense of what doesn’t quite fit in the moment. Through a nostalgic and intimate narrative, the piece builds a small story full of familiar images that contrast with this sense of temporal distance.
The song has already been selected as a finalist for the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya 2026. It was produced by Scotty DK, mixed by Víctor Ayuso at Zamenhof Estudi, and mastered by Juanjo Muñoz at CatMastering.
Júlia Blum, a Barcelona-based pop composer and singer who has already consolidated her project across leading radio stations in Catalonia, returns with “En Diferit” and has set the presentation of her new album for this coming spring.
