Júlia Blum presents Somiar Desperta, her new record. The album, made up of six songs, confirms the sonic evolutionthe artist has been shaping in this new stage, with a clear focus on a more atmospheric pop sound and careful attention to detail.
Following the previews “En Diferit” and “Només amb tu,” featuring Gerard Aledo, the project now reveals itself as a cohesive work, both musically and conceptually. The title, taken from the track “Somiar Despert,” refers to a state of conscious disconnection: the idea of briefly isolating oneself from external noise and retreating into a personal space. This guiding thread runs throughout the album and is reflected in songs rooted in pop, yet exploring more ethereal and contemporary textures.

The album includes the collaboration of Gerard Aledo on “Només amb tu,” a reinterpretation of one of the most well-known songs from the band Animal’s repertoire, reimagined through an ambient pop production that places it in a new sonic context.
“En Diferit” was produced by Scotty DK, while the rest of the songs were recorded and produced at Zamenhof Estudi. All tracks were mixed in the same studio, and the album was mastered at CatMastering, maintaining sonic coherencethroughout the entire project.
One of the distinctive elements of Somiar Desperta is the visual universe accompanying each song. Every track has its own visual piece, designed to reinforce its identity and expand the experience beyond audio.
Don’t miss the live presentation of her new album on May 15 at Sala Heliogàbal, where you’ll discover a project created from creative freedom—rooted in pop, but this time expanding into new textures that will make you daydream!
