El Santo (Falsalarma)
El Santo (Falsalarma)
David “El Santo” became known with Falsalarma, one of the pioneering groups of the national hip-hop scene. With his brother Titó, he was a Falsalarma member, founder and MC. From 1995 onwards they were gathering followers both nationally and in Latin America and they have been a source of inspiration for many artists who would come later.
Falsalarma released seven albums between 1997 and 2019, as well as several singles and EPs. The MC of Sabadell (Barcelona) was part along with other artists with whom he has collaborated (Frank T, Violadores del Verso, Tote King, SFDK…) of the generation that laid the foundations of hip-hop, rap and urban music in Spain and Latin America. A pioneer whose verses led him to tour throughout Spain and countries like Mexico or Chile.
With all this baggage and as an indisputable figure of hip-hop in Spanish, now “El Santo” is about to start his solo career and preparing a first album that will be released this year 2023. ‘Partir de Cero’ is the first single lets guess the motivation of his change of stage. The album is produced by Koar -producer of artists like Natos y Waor– and will have powerful collaborations that will be revealed soon.
