After the impact of ‘Dorayakis’ alongside 31 FAM, Flashy Ice Cream, the leading duo of the Catalan urban scene, continue expanding their new sonic universe with ‘IMAGINA’, a romantic, danceable track with an underlying activist message.
Flashy Ice Cream keep setting the pace of new Catalan urban music with ‘IMAGINA’, the second preview of their upcoming album, set for release in autumn 2026. Produced by Pol Giancana and Joey C (31 FAM), the track is rooted in the essence of bachata, but transforms it into a production full of nuances, textures, and subtle sonic details that distance it from the genre’s conventional formula.
Sensual, warm, and magnetic, ‘IMAGINA’ is designed to be listened to and danced closely with someone you like. However, beneath this romantic atmosphere, the single also hides a critical and utopian perspective. The message in its chorus is clear: to imagine a better world, where love is abundant and wealth is shared.

This new release follows ‘Dorayakis’, the first preview of the album and the explosive reunion with 31 FAM after the success of ‘Bona Vida’, a track also featuring Mushkaa. With a clearly playful (goofy) tone and a beat that subtly evokes the universe of Doraemon, the song connects childhood nostalgia with the artists’ present reality, combining introspection, attitude, and a carefree energy that defines the essence of both collectives.
With an unstoppable upward trajectory, Flashy Ice Cream have established themselves as one of the essential names in the Catalan urban scene. Their fusion of trap, rap, urban pop, and dancehall has earned them two Enderrock Awards for Best Urban Music Album and performances at some of the country’s major festivals and stages, including La Mercè, Festival Cruïlla, Acampada Jove, and Embassa’t, among others.
After selling out Sala Apolo (Room 1) as part of the Festival Cruïlla and presenting their latest Argentina-produced project, ‘SEMPRE JOVES’ (Delirics, 2025), the group reaffirms their leadership with a new era full of identity, experimentation, and hits ready to be played everywhere in 2026.
