NEISHA RELEASES ‘DE MISSIÓ’, THE NEW TEASER FROM HER UPCOMING EP ‘PRESIDENTA DE CUNTALUNYA’
Barcelona-based artist Neisha premieres ‘De missió’, a bold new single that serves as the introduction to her highly anticipated EP ‘Presidenta de Cuntalunya’. Built on an Atlanta-style trap beat, Neisha brings this sound into Catalan with unapologetic authenticity, raw energy, and zero filters. The track celebrates sexual capital without shame and turns anyone who listens into a Catalan Sexyy Red.
‘De missió’ reinforces the unique universe Neisha inhabits—an artist who moves between the deconstruction of club culture and singular pop expression. Her sound blends reggaeton, dancehall, and melodic trap, offering a distinctly female and Catalan perspective in genres where Catalan is rarely heard—and even more rarely led by women.
Neisha began her musical journey in 2016 with Crimen Pasional, the pioneers of reggaeton in Catalan. Since then, she has performed on major stages such as Festival Strenes Urbana, Sala Apolo, and Sidecar, and has taken her sound to cities like Berlin, where she played at an NTS x Adidas party. In 2021, she made her solo debut with ‘Dolcesa Bruna’, an EP released by Sant Jordi that fused Catalan poetry with urban rhythms. Her track ‘Rosa als llavis’ was a finalist at the 25th Miquel Martí i Pol Awards.
One year later, with ‘Anime en català’ (Delirics, 2023), Neisha explored her “kawaii” and “hentaii” side, with visual influences from anime and manga, collaborating with artists like Lil Guiu (P.A.W.N GANG). This project took her to festivals like Strenes Urbana and Festigàbal, where she shared the lineup with acts such as Mushkaa, Scorpio, and Renaldo & Clara.
Following her single ‘3Bé’ with Menorcan artist Malánima—an experimental pop-electronic track with hints of funk and Jersey beat—Neisha released ‘Les Prada’, a dark and intense track produced by L-Street, influenced by cutting-edge trap from Atlanta.
Now, with ‘De missió’, Neisha opens a bold new chapter and reaffirms her place as a pioneering voice in Catalonia’s new wave of urban music.
